THE PATELLA

Apart from trauma and cartilage disease, disorders of the patella are uncommon. Variants include : • bipartite patella • Dorsal patellar defect. Other lesions include: • Gout. Consider with any cytis type lesion affecting the bone and tendon attachments • Infection •Pagets Disease: becoming less common • Chondroblastoma . Most common bone tumour See also here
